She is an energy and international development professional with over eight years of experience in the humanitarian energy sector. She currently serves as Energy Advisor at the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) in Rwanda, working at the intersection of clean energy and food systems. Her work focuses on advancing the transition from biomass-dependent institutional cooking to clean energy solutions, particularly in schools and humanitarian settings. She coordinates WFP's contribution to Rwanda's institutional clean cooking roadmap and supports broader initiatives on the productive use of energy, connecting research, programme and finance design, and private sector delivery. Through NORCAP's Energy & Environment Programme, she has worked with WFP in Niger and at its headquarters in Rome, and with the Norwegian Refugee Council in Ukraine. She has also worked with ZERO in Norway.
