Josiane NYIRAMUGISHA is a researcher, plant breeder, seed scientist and expert in project implementation and management with experience in leadership and multi-project management. Josiane serves as a Program Manager at Peace and Development Network, managing over five projects implemented by PDN with 16 years of experience. Josiane has served as assistant plant breeder at World Vegetable center Arusha-Tanzania and she has served as Rwanda Regional Officer at INADES Formation Rwanda, managing three projects implemented in the region funded by WFP, FAO, IFAD, UN Women and other international organizations; Served as a Junior research assistant in RAB, Bean program working with projects funded by ASARECA (The Association for Strengthening Agricultural Research in Eastern and Central Africa) and AGRA (The Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa). Josiane holds a master’s degree in plant breeding and seed systems, Makerere university and a bachelor’s degree in agriculture from University of Rwanda. In addition, Josiane has two research publications, and she is a master trainer in Regenerative/Conservation Agriculture.
