Cynthia Muhati is the Chief Executive Officer of the Kenya Renewable Energy Association (KEREA), bringing over 15 years of experience across the corporate and social enterprise sectors. A passionate advocate for renewable energy and sustainability, she has contributed significantly to advancing policy development, regulatory frameworks, and off-grid solar initiatives within Kenya’s clean energy ecosystem. Her work has been instrumental in fostering multi-stakeholder collaboration, shaping industry dialogue, and supporting the alignment of national standards with global energy efficiency frameworks. Through her leadership, Cynthia continues to champion inclusive and sustainable energy solutions that strengthen livelihoods, drive innovation, and expand access to clean energy technologies. Beyond her role at KEREA, she serves on the board of the Electronic Producer Responsibility Organization of Kenya (EPROK) and is a founding member of the SHE Logistics and Transport Association (SLTA), reflecting her commitment to cross-sector partnerships, responsible growth, and long-term sustainability impact.
