ARTIS DAUGINS

Few entrepreneurs have successfully combined engineering, high-performance motorsport and clean mobility into a single global vision. Artis Daugins is one of them. Born in Latvia in 1987, Artis built his journey from modest beginnings. Growing up in a large family and becoming independent at just fifteen years old, he learned early that success is built through discipline, resilience and relentlessness. execution. Originally educated as an industrial designer, Artis transformed his passion for engineering into entrepreneurship. In 2012, he founded what would become Blue Shock Race (BSR) a technology company dedicated to redefining electric propulsion for motorsport and advanced mobility. Today, Blue Shock Race has evolved into one of Europe's recognized developers of high-performance electric powertrain systems, designing complete electric propulsion platforms that combine battery technology, power electronics, vehicle control software and drivetrain engineering into integrated solutions. The company's technologies are now used in more than 40 countries, supplying manufacturers, racing teams, circuit operators and innovation partners while helping accelerate the global transition toward high-performance electric mobility. Artis has become internationally recognized for demonstrating that electric vehicles can outperform traditional combustion technology not only in sustainability—but also in speed, excitement and engineering excellence. His work extends beyond motorsport. BSR technologies and engineering expertise contribute to projects ranging from professional racing platforms to advanced electric systems for aviation, marine applications, autonomous technologies and next-generation mobility concepts. Believing that technology alone cannot transform an industry, Artis also set out to build the ecosystem around it. He founded the American Electric Karting League (AEKL) and the European Electric Karting League (EEKL), creating new international platforms where future generations of engineers, drivers and entrepreneurs can experience electric motorsport at the highest level. These initiatives have also laid the groundwork for future electric karting championships across Australia and Asia. Today, thousands of drivers, teams, manufacturers and partners are becoming part of a rapidly expanding global electric motorsport ecosystem built around technologies developed by Blue Shock Race. Throughout his entrepreneurial career, Artis has received numerous national and international recognitions for innovation, industrial design and entrepreneurship, including:  Forbes Latvia – 30 Under 30  TOYP Latvia – The Outstanding Young Persons Award  Golden Section Award for contribution to industrial design  Presidential recognition for contributions to entrepreneurship and innovation  Selected to represent Latvia at the 2016 Global Entrepreneurship Summit in Silicon Valley Today, Artis works with governments, manufacturers, racing organizations and technology partners to help shape the future of electric mobility through innovation, education and international collaboration. His vision reaches beyond racing. He believes motorsport should become the world's fastest laboratory for sustainable transportation—where technologies developed on the track accelerate innovation across everyday mobility, aviation, marine industries and future intelligent transportation systems.
