His work involves bridging the gap between private and public sector players in the ICT industry connecting as well as overseeing and establishing new innovation centers and hubs for technology startups in Rwanda including but not limited to kLab Rwanda, Fablab Rwanda, 250 Startups, Digital Business Institute, Hanga Hubs, etc. Alex is deeply passionate about technology, startups growth and development of financial markets, particularly their potential to address challenges in Rwanda and beyond. Prior to his tenure at the ICT Chamber, Alex worked as a software development consultant and served as a lecturer at Université Libre de Kigali in the Faculty of Finance and Banking. He holds a Master of Science in Investment and Quantitative Finance from the University of Westminster, a Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Business Information Technology from the National Computing Centre (NCC Education) in the UK, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Makerere University in Uganda.
